How do I get my deleted text messages back?

trying to get my deleted texts of my phone Galaxy Discover

i have an old galaxy discovery and have deleted texts on it and i need to see if i can get them back is ther a way . If so i'm a little simple with this stuff so if you can give me a step by step walk through would be appreciated thanks again
