Alright guys!
I'm new here. I was on CrackBerry for a while though. I got into sideloading unreleased OS's and sideloading apps on my BB10 device.

Now I'm on Android, I was told I can 'root' my device and put custom roms on it. I've looked online and in here briefly but I can't seem to find a how-to-topic or anything.

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction?

Thanks guys!

The device is a 901F. The version of Android is 4.4.4. Whether you get LTE or LTE-A depends on the carrier you're on, but the European S5 is capable of LTE-A. So, yes, there's a difference, but not with the phone, with the carrier. If your carrier doesn't do LTE-A, the phone might say LTE, so you don't keep pestering the carrier about why you're not getting Advanced speeds. (They'll tell you "your phone doesn't do Advanced", rather than the truth, "we don't do Advanced speeds yet, so you'll have to go to another carrier if you want more speed".)
