On my Galaxy S4, there was a feature where (when the phone was locked, laying flat and the blue light was blinking slowly) I could hover my hand over the screen and it would keep the black screen but show the time, missed calls / texts, notifications, etc., without having to wake up the phone. Can you tell me where to find this feature on the Galaxy S5? I saw a similar question on the forum (fixed through the "accessibility" menu), but it wasn't the same thing.

    Thank you!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about the Air Wake feature? Accessibility features on the Samsung Galaxy S5 | Android Central. By hovering your hand over the proximity sensor, it will wake the phone, and assuming you have a lockscreen set up, it should wake to the clock and your notifications.
