Hello
I just switch from s3 to note 4. I want to hide the items from memory card in the gallery section. In s3 I just have to rename the file name with (.) in the front then the folder will not shown in gallery but will able find it in the MY File folder. I have over 90Gb in the memory card so I can't transfer it all to note 4 and hide it. Any other option? Thanks in advance.

Put a file named .nomedia (nothing to the left of the dot) in the folder and no pictures in that folder will show in Gallery, but My Files will still see them. (It doesn't matter what;s in the file, or even if anything is. A null file is as good as a 2GB image - it's the name that does it.)

I tried to hide the files from the galley. I have over 90 gb memory from the micro sd so I can't transfer all to the phone. The phone memory is not big enough. So on my Old galaxy S3 I just have to rename the file with a dot in the front then the folder from the micro sc is disappear and only able find it at "my file". But the note 4 is not able to do that. any clue?
