Why cant my samsung galaxy tab 3 connect to the wifi?

[AC Question]

Last night i discovered my samsung galaxy tab 3 couldn't connect to the wifi so i tried clearing caches, resetting modem and all the other basic ways to try and fix this. So, i tried a factory reset figuring that was the problem, however, now i cant sign in to my gmail account due to the apparent lack of wifi however, the symbol clearly shows a strong signal. After that, i went to these forums and found a helpful thread that gave me many options to try, but none of them worked. I tried to change the time, and i have no apps to clear. Please help me! I cant progress pass the sign in screen.
