Goophone i6 - "searching..." for carrier

[AC Question]

Hi! I got my Goophone i6 today, but it's searching for carrier. It's stuck there, I have tried multiple simcards, and it's not working! What can I do? PLEASE HELP! (It's Android)

Also, what happens when you activate a sim card? Are these sim cards you are using already activated on a carrier?

The sim is activated, have tried alots of sim cards

If the SIM card came with the phone, it's not activated on any carrier, so it won't find a signal. You have to go to your carrier (most will give you one of their SIM cards).
