The Merriam-Webster dictionary app provides a word of the day

A

AC Question

HTC One M8 phone. I installed the Merriam-Webster dictionary app. The car is connected to my 2013 Volvo S60 via bluetooth. I listen to pandora via BT. The MW app's word of the day appeared to be present all the time. It overwrote Pandora's display ot music info on my display screen. To get rid of it, I uninstalled the MW app. However, the word of the day persists. It has either "marplot" or "epitome." I have unpaired my phone from the car and repaired it. The app persists. It is as though the BT has become infected in some way. Has anyone else experienced a similar infestation? Does anyone have a suggestion on how to clean this up?
