Hey! I have a Motorola moto g 2nd generation (XT106. I recently downloaded some music. My device was unable to read it so I tried changing the name of the album. I changed it and realized that all the previous albums are not present. They Aren't deleted but are not displayed in any music player. What to do? I tried moving the files but no luck. The files were being read before.

From where did you download the music files? What file format are they in? Check the directory they're in and make sure you don't see any ".nomedia" files.

I agree, delete them and copy them over again. From where did you download the files? Or did you transfer them over from your computer via USB?

When you copied the music files from the computer, was it all in one operation, copying over many GBs of data? I've found that doing this can sometimes lead to data errors. Try copying them over again, this time in smaller batches.
