Not sure if its a windows update or an android one but now when I try to move music files from my pc to my phone it gets hung up with a "sync pending" symbol in the file explorer and I cannot access the files on my phone. I never use cloud [language redacted by Mod]. I deleted one drive off of the pc and phone, still no luck. Going nuts here, the whole reason I don't use apple is I hate messing around with iTunes and like being able to drag and drop music with windows explorer. Any help is appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central forums. I don't think they allow profanity on the site so be careful of your language, too many strikes could have negative effects.

In the meantime, just a couple questions about your issue.

What device do you have?

Are you transferring files over WiFi, Bluetooth, or USB? Have you tried one of the other transfer techniques?

Are you seeing this message in file explorer on your device or on your PC? Will you include a screenshot of this message? Please protect your privacy and make any edits to your photo before posting.

Are you saving these files to your internal memory, or do save to an SD card in the device?

If you do not use cloud services, what lead you to delete One Drive? Why would you suspect this app of having an effect on your issue?

There is a chance this is due to an update, which means that some house cleaning may help with this issue. Let's start with Quick Share. Open Settings>Applications>Quick Share>Storage>Clear cache/Clear data. Deleting the cache is just removing temporary files and file fragments that the app should be recycling anyway. Sometimes things get stuck, don't delete the way they should. In this case I wouldn't be concerned with deleting the data for this app. Unlike some other apps where you would have to re-enter information or sign in again after deleting app data, Quick Share doesn't require any of that so you will only see benefit with no downside.

Restart the phone and see if things improved.

A bug like this could also be related to an overall system update which also has a cache that we can clear to clean things up. To clear the system cache partition boot into recovery. Some devices may call this the bootloader, or fast boot. Since I do not know what device you have I am not able to offer you directions for this specific to your device. In general though, to open the bootloader, first power down the device. Then hold the Vol+ button while holding the power button, until the manufacturer's splash screen, then release the power button while continuing to hold the Vol+ until the phone has fully booted. You should see different commands and some device information. Use the Vol keys to navigate the menu and the power button to confirm choices. Choose Clear Cache Partition. Once complete use the option to reboot the device and test once the device has fully booted.

Let us know what you find, give us some answers to the questions to help us, and well see you back here.
