How do I get to safe mode?

How do I go into safe mode on LG Optimus G pro E988?

Welcome to AC.

On the G3, you long-press the power button as if to power off the phone. When the options appear, long-press on 'Power Off?' and the Safe Mode option will appear. To exit Safe Mode after you've done with it, do a Power Off and Restart....the phone will boot into normal mode.
I assume it will be the same on your device.
