My Galaxy S5, running Android 5 will not connect to Mac Mini.

AC Question

I have been using Missing Sync for years to sync my android devices with my Mac Mini desktop. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S5, running Android 5, which refuses to connect to desktop for syncing.

The device will pair with the desktop, but when I try to sync I get the message "Communication error" and the sync process stops there. This happens whether I try to connect through wi-fi or Bluetooth.

Markspace, Missing Sync owners, say this is an Android 5 problem, because I have another Galaxy S5 with the previous Android OS v.4 and the problem does not occur there.

Any ideas?

I don't know about Missing Sync. I use Airdroid to send the files from my phone to Mac. If you just want to backup photos or files, it is a useful tool. But it can't sync Contacts or something else.
