Why am I not getting text messages until hours or days later?

[AC Question]

I have an AT&T Avail 2 and for some reason I am getting my texts very late. I have never experienced this problem until about a week ago. It went on for 3 days and i never thought anything of it and now it is happening again...its extremely annoying and i need a permanent solution. My brother owns the same exact phone and doesnt have this problem. I have already restarted it, reinstalled SIM card, cleared caches...everything....any thoughts?
