Samsung keyboard has stopped, how to fix?

Samsung Galaxy S5. Keyboard app does appear in Settings. Shutting down phone and restarting did not help.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you getting that as an error message?

Go to the App Manager, select Samsung Keyboard, and Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now try again.

I have been getting this error message as well, and I've cleared my cache at least twice in the last two months.
