My S3 is recognized in KIES 3, but it does not want to download any photos, etc?

I have a Samsung S3 with Android 4.3, a ACER laptop with OS: windows XP with Kies 3 currently installed. The phone is being recognized in KIES 3, but it does not want to download any contacts, pictures or videos. The icons for the photos also does not want to show before download options (as it use to be in KIES 2) What can be the issue? Active Sync? Is there any additional software for communication?

Have you tired uninstalling Kies 3 and then reinstall it?
