Droid Turbo - How do I change the file size (quality) that the camera defaults to?

Welcome to Android Central!

You should be able to go in to the camera settings and change the megapixels to a lower resolution. What phone do you have?

Can't find where to change (lower) the file size of my photos. This droid turbo is the most amazing phone I've had but this ONE area is a pain. I'd rather not have to manually and externally do this every time I take a photo.
They're all coming out at over 4 megs.
