Most manufacturers offer a pdf version of the user manual. Download it, keep it on your computer (I have a Manuals folder in my Documents folder, which is backed up in the cloud, of course - for all my stuff, like the programmable thermostat in the house, my digital watch - all the stuff I don't use every day and might forget how to set) and, if you want, open it in a PDF reader and print it. I even did that with a storage rack I built last Friday - the manual was printed in such small print that, even with my 20/15 vision, I needed a strong light to read it. One page was the assembly instructions,so I printed that as a full sheet and it made it easy to read.
