How do I merge multiple contact entries?

When I moved the ontact data from motorola to the samsung, many of my contacts are duplicated. Is there a way to merge the same contacts into 1 contact? I trid linking but that just displays both contact entries. Thank you in advance.

Try Contacts, 3-dot menu, Manage Contacts, Merge Contacts.
