Why is my screen not working?

[AC Question]

My Galaxy S5's screen stopped working today. The bottom buttons don't light up. When I plug it in, it vibrates quickly and softly. It also vibrated when I hold down the power button. I tried a few things to get it working but all have failed. Any help?

Sounds more like a wet phone. Cooled way down in air conditioning, then brought out into a hot, humid environment?
