S4 playing music using AUX in car, but with hissing and whining noise

AC Question

Hey, so just bought a BMW 3 series 2011 and it has a AUX input in the glove compartment (yay!). Whenever I try to play music through it, it makes this awful whining noise, again this only happens when i play music. I had a VW polo before and used to play music without any issue through the aftermarket AUX input.

1. The car doesn't not need to be running for it to make this noise
2. The phone does not need to be charging
3. It only makes the noise when playing music, through youtube or Music app
4. Tried other phones such as Note 3 and a series of Iphones, they all work fine
5. Tried different AUX cable, same thing

so very unsure what to do, could it be that it needs a ground loop Isolator?

Please can anyone help me!

Only if the charger is plugged in while you're playing music. If it's not, a single cable can't cause a ground loop. (Loop to what - there's no other cable that's grounded.)

There could also be something else in the car causing electrical noise that sounds like a whine, even the car's computer. You have to have the ignition turned at least to Aux to play music through the cars audio system, so a rew things are running, even if the engine isn't..
