AC Question

I have a new Note 4. Is there a way to toggle mobile data with a widget?

It should be there when you pull down the notification shade for quick toggles. If it's not there you can bring it up from the overflow list using the box shape icon in the corner. It may have changed with Lollipop, I had a Note 3.

There are toggle apps/widgets in the Play Store.
Try Power Toggles.

If it's not there, Settings/Connection/More networks/Mobile networks. You can turn it on and off in there. (There may also be widgets that work in Lollipop - I don't run it so I don't know.)

If you're rooted, you can get into the database for the toggles on the screen and add mobile data to them. (There should be instructions in the Note 4 section of XDA Forums.)

After Lollipop some Samsung devices lost the mobile toggle on the Quick Settings. If you can't find it there take a look at this article, maybe you need to download the Quick Panel Restore on the Samsung apps.

Most widgets will send you to the data usage settings where you can switch mobile data on. That's one of the things I don't like in Lollipop, missing the ability to toggle mobile data on & off with just one click
