Toggle bluetooth with one click

I had a Pixel 4 XL with Android 13 until recently and I just switched to a Pixel 6 Pro with Android 14

I can't believe on my older Pixel 4 XL I was able to switch bluetooth on/off with just one click (see image below) and now, on the newer phone (with a more recent Android version), hitting bluetooth opens a dialog where I have to toggle a 2nd button called "Use bluetooth" and a 3rd button called "Done" (see 2nd image below).

Seriously? There must be someone at the UX department who needs to look for new job.

Is there a way to make the bluetooth button "active" in Android 14?

Thanks

It's been like this for the longest now Google changed it up if you long press you can see Bluetooth devices or connections and one tap gets you to the turn on or off

One tap does not turn bluetooth on/off on my Pixel 6 Pro running Android 14, hence my question.

OK thanks.
On my older Pixel 4 XL with Android 13, it's just one click, which I found optimal, but they probably assumed seeing all devices should be the default behavior unfortunately.
I agree there's a lot of complaints on Reddit and different forums about the new way they are implementing. I don't turn my Bluetooth off and on so it's not really a bother for me I just leave it on all the time. But you would think they would make it easier with a one step

Although I agree this can be a hassle, I actually like this system better, because there have been times when I accidentally turned off Bluetooth, which can be disruptive if I was in the middle of a call while using headphones.
