Why do I keep getting text messages from +1121611611?

Galaxy Note 2 from T-Mobile recently unlocked and switched carrier to Consumer Cellular AT&T. Had to enter new APN info. and everything works except for annoying text above 3 or 4 per hour!

It's a faked number.

I'll decode it for you, just in case you're interested.

+1 is North America

121 is the inward operator - the operator your operator would call in another city to place a long distance call, before we had direct area code dialing

611 is customer service.

So someone took a few numbers, put them together and make a fake phone number. (It's almost a pun to people who used to "phone phreak".)
