AC Question

I recently bought a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 15, 3000 series) that has the capability to burn CDs. I would be very excited about this, if it weren't for the fact that all of my music is on my Samsung Galaxy S6, and in order to put it onto a cd easily, I would like it to be on my computer. When I first plugged my phone in, the computer successfully installed all of the drivers (I think?), but the SD card doesn't seem to be visible to the computer. I can see all of the files on my phone just fine, but there is no folder for an SD card, and that is where I keep my music. Normally my tree-hugging brain can navigate these kinds of issues, but for the first time, my dear friend Google seems to be of no avail.
How do I unlock/mount/jigger my SD card so that I can move some files from it to my computer?
Sincerely,
the most non-tech savvy person you know.
