Why does my camera settings immediately close?

[AC Question]

Open default camera.

Click settings in the app.

Settings opens, setting closes. No time to change any setting. I would just switch to a nice camera app but then I lose my slow motion functionality.

Not sure why I cannot access all of my settings. I've gone to Setting>Applications>Camera but in those settings, it doesn't show all the Settings that the app has when it's open.

Welcome to AC.

Did you try a Clear Cache for the Camera app?
Also, Safe Mode may be worth trying, in case a third-party app is interfering with normal Camera function.
