How do you fix 'connection error and try again' for google play

I go on google play and choose an app and then it says 'connection error try again.' Please tell me how to fix it

Welcome to the forums. Try this: Go to settings>apps>menu>reset app preferences. This sometimes helps with Google Play issues. Now, doing this will remove any default app selected, and any disabled apps will become enabled again.
