AC Question
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 running lollipop and have been for sometime now, and for most of my applications I have notifications turned off and have never had an issue until recently. I have notifications turned off in two places: Settings>Device>Sound and notification is set to all notifications blocked, and also in Settings>Applications>Application manager show notifications box is unchecked....until I power down my phone and turn it back on it is now checked again.
It seems that every time I turn my phone back on the notification box in Application manager is checked and I keep getting notifications even though the notifications setting is turned to all blocked still in the sound settings. I recently did an android system update and think that may have changed something but I am not sure.
Is there another way to turn off notifications? Or Is there anyway to set my phone back before the recent update to see if that is the issue like I can do on my computer after an update?
