AC Question

I've rooted my SM-G530H in order to delete unwanted apps from the phone provider and some other apps that come with it.

After being successful in doing all of that, however, I noticed that turning the device off and then on again, it will always start in "recovery mode". Can I kill this annoyance ? I want it to boot normally, as it should.

PS: I used a custom rom/firmware, which I'm not sure if it was for the G530HVCU1AQE1 (although that is not important, because the device works fine). It's the EN-UK rom, I wish it was the EN-US one... and Kitkat 4.4.4
So I just want to kill the "recovery mode" bootup, and make it boot normally again.

PPS: If anyone knows where I can find the EN-US rom, without any extra apps (phone companies, etc..., in other words, a "pure android" American rom), I'd appreciate that.

It might be a bad flash, which a reflash might help. Flashing the proper ROM for your device is best, and probably the only way to stop the phone from booting directly into recovery.

Ok, I've just confirmed that the rom was for my model, by looking at apps' details, like the one called "CSC". So there's nothing wrong with the rom, I suppose.

Any other procedures to kill this annoyance and boot up normally ? I'll have to root again and delete unwanted language packs.

Well, the problem with the boot is solved. But the original problem of having the carrier's apps installed is back, as I had to revert back to the original ROM.

Thanks anyway. I guess this means no custom roms for me, ever.

No, I can't reroot, because I don't know how to root. The rooting I did was by flashing the "bad" rom, which comes already rooted.

1- So I can't flash that rom anymore unless I am willing to put up with the recovery mode screen every time I boot the device.
2- I don't know how to root otherwise;
3- which means I can't procede with Titanium or any other app to get rid of bloatware.

Thanks anyway.
