How to be able to choose a video player for web video content in Android 5 like older versions?

I have a Moto G 2014 with android 5. And want to use another video player when streaming a video in my browser instead to streaming it inside the browser. Is there a way to change it?

Welcome to the forums. I would imagine if the player you download can play browser videos, there should be the pop up window asking for a default action. Other than that, I am not sure if there is a player that can override the browser one.
