Worth Buying a Note 5 While In Korea?

Greetings All!

Long time iOS user looking to switch to Android.

I just recently moved to Japan (US Navy) but find myself in Korea for a bit. If I were to buy an international Note 5 here, would I have any trouble taking it back to Japan and starting a new contract? Reason I ask is I'm not seeing any of the big 3 offering anything other than the S6 and S6 Edge.

Welcome to Android Central! My concern would be if it's compatible with the bands that the Japanese carriers use. It probably is, but it'd be a good idea to find the exact network frequency bands that the international Note 5 uses and compare them with the big Japanese carriers. I wasn't able to find that info with a quick Google search.
