AC Question

This question was asked back in 2014, and it's the same exact question I have. So I'm just re-asking it in hopes that 2015 has brought a better answer!

"I have 2 google accounts, one for work, and one for personal. I want to set up 2 calendars, one for each account. I cant seem to figure this out. I have tried multiple email apps (jorte, aCalendar, business calendar etc) every time I change one, it changes my google calendar as well. I have searched all over for a solution, but have come up empty. Has anyone been successful at this? Any help would be appreciated. I have been at this for hours and I am at my wits end."

I DO NOT want to just have to keep choosing which calendar I want to view in one app. I have a "file" on my home screen that has all things business in and I'd like to put my "business calendar" in that so when I need it quickly, for calls, I can just select it.

Thank you for you help! It's greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! If you have two calendars in your Google account, then you could have your Google Calendar app set to sync or display only one of them, and then install a separate calendar app (like Jorte or Business Calendar), and have that set to sync or display only the other one. As long as you're only modifying the specific calendar that each app is syncing or displaying, it shouldn't affect the other. I think that should work.

I'm having the same issues. I even bought business calendar thinking I could have a widget for business and a widget for personal. I'm still trying to figure out.

You should try making a new (different) gmail account for the business account. That way you can tell the different calendars to sync with just one of the accounts. That should work fine.

I'm also using work and private, but I prefer to only use Business Calendar and use different colors for the accounts.
