How can I get my "Ok Google" voice recognition reactivated?

My "Ok Google" voice prompt recognition suddenly stop working. I can get all the way into the settings where it says "say ok Google" 3 times and claims it is listening but it "listens" continuously without recognizing anything. What; or how can I fix this?

Hi and welcome to Android Central.

Have you installed anything new on the phone or perhaps a new headset? I had this once and it was my watch software blocking it. Check that the languages are set correctly.
