Why won't the WiFi work on my phone?

So the WiFi on my Droid Turbo will not turn on. Background: Several weeks ago, I dropped my phone in the toilet. Thankfully, after drying out for a few days, the phone worked. However, I soon began to have problems with the WiFi not working. It would just turn off. I go into setting and try to turn WiFi back on, and it won't turn on. At first, it would occasionally turn on, work for a few days, before turning itself off and not working again. I have tried doing a hard reset on my phone with no luck.

Any ideas for getting WiFi working again? I've had this phone less than a year and am not in a position to get a new one right now, but not having WiFi is making it nearly worthless to me.

Have you tried a factory data reset?

Yes, I've done a hard reset and didn't get anywhere.

It is probably water damaged then.

If you have insurance, you can get it replaced


You can buy a used one for around 250-300.
