Will android ever be able to send decent quality videos by text message, like an iphone can?

Videos received via text message look like crap on an android phone, but iphones can view great quality texted videos because of the way imessage works...
When will android develop a decent system for this???
I love my Note 5 except for this issue,,,,

Welcome to Android Central! It's a limitation of MMS. There are plenty of other messaging apps that allow you to send videos, but it requires the other person to use that app as well.

Can you list some of those apps please? I have the same issue. I love my Samsung except for the fact that I can't share any videos I send bc they all end up looking like they were taken with a 1980's video camcorder.
