How to take focused image with blur background in moto x play inbuilt camera?

Say, I want to take an image of a toy and i need the background to be blurry. Can i do this using the focus capture with inbuilt camera in MOTO X Play?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't know for sure, but if you're unable to, you could install Google Camera, which has a depth of field function.

The X Play camera comes with a manual focus feature. Try this. Open the camera app, swipe in from the left to open the settings, there's a hand icon in the middle of that wheel, tap on it to enable manual focus and swipe to the left to hide the wheel. Now you can drag that circle to the subject to be focused. The slider is to control the light.

Thanks! This camera has some limits, specially with low light, but I'm quite impressed with it. The level of detail is pretty good. And this is a Moto phone
