How do I sync SNote3 to MacBook Pro now Kies has been replaced with Smart Switch?

Have downloaded the apps suggested by Samsung for Mac for Smart Switch also have app on phone as replaced Kies but how do I sync the two devices so that I can transfer photos, iTunes music etc etc? Have just cracked Kies when Samsung moves the goal posts. Now I can't get anything transferred, not happy.
