Should I stick with Nexus or jump to Galaxy?

I will soon be switching phone carriers to T Mobile so it's time to get a new phone. Right now I have a Nexus 5 (which I absolutely love) and would prefer to stick with Android (although ios is an option). One of my options is another Nexus 5 which I would be completely fine with (as long as it's new) but I have reservations about the lack of updates down the road. Another option is the Galaxy S6, which I guess is my second choice. (Two other options are the LG G4 and the iPhone 6). Which one makes the most sense to have for 2 years?

The Nexus 5x is in preorders now, would you want a 5x? Looks like a great phone. It would work on T-Mobile.
