Phone is not displaying anything

My phone will not display anything. I know it is on because of the thing where it shows the time every 7 or so seconds. When I try to unlock it from that screen, nothing happens. The phone is on and functioning, it just won't let me see or do anything...

#1: try holding the power button down for a long time.
#2:if you have a phone/tablet with a battery you can take out, take it out and re-insert it, when you do that hold the power button down for a couple of seconds.
#3: try using it while it is on charge
#4: if nothing works ask an expert like b.Diddy, he has help me with all my problems
