Why is my new Samsung GalaxyGalaxy S6 edge slow, and the RAM clogged?

I've had my phone for 4 months now and it tends to start lagging really badly, especially on the keyboard. I'm not running anything crazy, typically Google Play music, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc. I don't think that such standard applications should slow down such a new phone. The application manager says 2.3 gigs used. I've reset my phone to factory settings, and it works until I reinstall my applications. But the whole point of having a new phone is running 1st party software without issue. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have any "RAM booster" or "battery saver" apps installed? If so, try uninstalling them, since they can often be counterproductive.
