Issues with activating Nexus 6P on Verizon.

[AC Question]

I'm a Verizon customer using a Galaxy SIII that uses a micro-SIM.

I requested a nano-SIM from Verizon and they sent one.

Which of the following would enable me to activate the Nexus 6P without any issues encountered on the Nexus 6 or Moto X Pure?

1. Insert the nano-SIM into the Nexus 6P.

2. Activate the nano-SIM on the Galaxy SIII before inserting the nano-SIM into the Nexus 6P.

3. Other. (Please explain).
