My edge+ days my tab limit has been reached when i have just a few open.

I keep getting the message that the limit of 50 tabs has been reached and i cant open a new tab until i close some tabs. This halpens when i have nowherr near 50 tabs open. Sometimes only 1! Any suggestions on what is going on?
