Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 10 in model - can it be charged by a power bank?

Greetings, I have a Galaxy Tab S2 and an external power bank with a 2.1 A port. The S2 refused to charge off this device and I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. Samsung prefer to avoid answering my question and I find this frustrating. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried multiple USB cables? Since devices are fussy when it comes to charging... I have an older Samsung that will refuse to charge with some bricks.

Maybe contact the maker of the power bank. They might be able to provide since insight.
