Secure Box password error

[AC Question]

I JUST got this HTC DESIRE 510. I got 5 or 6 mms from my daughter and I wanted to make sure they stayed safe so I put them in the secure box. I went back to look at them 5 minutes later and it asked me to set a password. I put in a password and hit okay and it said "passwords don't match". Match what? I haven't put a password in yet. This is my first try. I HATE THIS PHONE!! HOW DO I GET MY MESSAGES BACK? I did not FORGET the password! I NEVER SET ONE. WTH? Is there a default password for the phone, like a master reset code of 12345 or something? What would the password be if I did not set one yet?
