how to uninstall and reinstall youtube on my LG LEON android phone

I have tried many suggestions to stop the youtube video and music from pausing with no success. Thinking, to uninstall and reinstall may work .

Some apps that come preinstalled in your phone can't be uninstalled unless you root. You could try clearing data and cache for YouTube and then uninstall updates.

Clearing the data from the app should do the trick, which can be done in application manager somewhere in the settings.
