Color falling out of screen?

Hello. I have a s6 , about 3 months old. I noticed in top right corner what appeared to be my screen protector peeling up. I finally went and bought a new one, but when I pulled mine off, it was not the screen protector. The black at top where it says samsung looks like it is falling out of the screen. A spot about the size of a thumb nail looks almost translucent or clear like the color has fallen out. Phone works great. I went to local Verizon and they are scratching their heads also. Say they have never seen it. There are no scratches, cracks, marks or anything. They checked it to see if it's been wet, and no. Anybody seen this?
