why the Gallery on my Galaxy TAB 3 not showing downloaded pictures via bluetooth

I have a Galaxy TAB 3 (10.1). The Gallery is working fine. It is about a week now that whenever I download a photo via bluetooth to my TAB 3, the image is not shown in Gallery under download folder. Through 'my files' I am able to to see the image in the directory. I have to reboot the Tab3 in order to be able to see the image via Gallery.

Can anyone tell me please what could be the problem which has started happening with no apparent reason?

I would try to clear cache and app data in the gallery app
