I just bought a second hand phone, HTC M8 GPe. Threw my SIM in and it wants an unlock code. The previous owners swears that it is a real, and legit GPe, and I downloaded a CID reader app which days its a GOOGL001.
Sooo is my Google phone broken?? Or is my HTC flashed GPe RUU phone simply not, not was ever unlocked?
How can I tell?
Also, I purchased an unlock code, and the phone will not unlock. It just says " requesting network unlock" for 12 hours.
I don't even actually know what an RUU is, I've just been googling stuff a lot lately.
