So I bought a used s5 galaxy down on the "Amazon" and right away I noticed some funky battery issue. .
It is a used phone.
I charged the battery for a bit. Turned it on. Went through the startup process. And everything seemed to work fine.
BUT, here's where things got weird. .
After installing a couple basic apps and seeing it up to my home wifi, etc, it suddenly shut down even though the battery bar was at 100%
So then I charged it for a couple hours, everything working swell, but after using for a hour or two I was shocked the battery was still at 100%!
The battery bar always shows its full but after some usage it will eventually shut down and I have to charge again and right away it says it's at 100% (also when plugging in the charger or shows 99% charge even though it just died..)
The phone seems to run just fine after charging but I can never see where my battery level is! It will just randomly shut down when the battery is depleted.
What could be causing this? ???!
