Question Galaxy Note 5 N9201 Stuck on SAMSUNG word. Blue light on.

Hi,

My N9201 is stuck on the SAMSUNG word and nothing stops it except the power and down volume.

It then goes to Galaxy Note 5 then shows the green Telstra page quickly then back to the SAMSUNG sign again.

How can I stop this loop.

It happened after I got a phone Update which I did.

The battery is full

The Note5 is 8 years old, so it would've stopped getting official updates years ago. What kind of update did you install?

For such an old device, a bootloop like that is typically a very bad sign. You could try booting into Recovery and doing a factory reset from there: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-note5/

I tried that reset and other things but it still just goes back to the SAMSUNG word slowly gently blinking. Just won't turn off !

Yes I know it is very old but I use it only with WiFi.

Odin is a tool you download to your computer from xda website and you will also need Frija tool download to computer for firmware, which carrier you on?
