How Can I Move Image Files to the Gallery of my S3?

Okay, so I have a Galaxy S3 and I messed up royal with it and accidentally deleted a whole bunch of files including all of my photos but I got what I needed for the most part back with Disk Digger. The only problem is that I have no idea how I can save the photos back to my phone so that they show up in the gallery again. I have them saved in their own file folder but I can't figure out for the life of me where I can save them so that I don't have to sift through my files to find them instead of just going to the gallery to look at them. I'm not a coder, I don't know anyone who codes, and I don't have a clue how coding works so if there's something to do with coding, could I get a brief tutorial? And also, does anyone know if there's a way to retrieve videos from Disk Digger, too? I lost those as well, but it only found screenshots.
