Why do i keep getting " cannot play the track you requested" error

09i recently purchased a Blu life one XL device. I loaded some songs onto my SD card. I keep getting the error every time i load a track on Google Play app or the music app. I tried what Google suggested (changing account passwords and clearing media storage cache) but a few songs played then the error came back for all the songs. i tried formatting the SD card, reloaded some songs the error came back. Another forum suggested i should reboot, enable USB debugging in the developer options and try reloading some songs. I tried that suggestion one track played for a couple seconds then the track playback was "erractic" (stuttering and fast forwarding), I also noticed the length of the track remained unmarked then the cannot play the trck you requested error came back again.
I am on Android Ver. 5.0.2 Custom Build version BLU_X030Q_V09_L_GENERIC
